This is a slower paced flow with gentler versions of sun salutations and postures. We do much fewer sun salutations than in other classes, so not so much of getting up and down off the floor.
We take lots of time to warm up, and I offer adaptations to suit your own body and pace.
Often we take inspiration from Dru Yoga with lots of flowing, meditative movements with the breath.
Slow Flow is not necessarily easy, we still challenge ourselves with balance, strength and stamina, just a little more gently than in a regular Vinyasa Flow class.
Often my Slow Flow Classes are adapted from the Vinyasa Flow class that we are doing that week.
If you would like to practice yoga, but you don't want to do hundreds of sun salutations and you prefer to go more slowly, then Slow Flow is for you.
